South India Tourism South India, the area in the southern part of the country is formed by four states- Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The union territories of the Lakshadweep and Pondicherry are also a part of South India. The Arabian sea lies in the west, the Indian ocean uin the south and the Bay of Bengal to the east of this part of India. For the same reason, South India has some of the loveliest beaches in the country. South India also boasts of a diverse geography.
